The room was good. The beds were really comfy. The room was clean and had bathroom accessories. Breakfast was good with tea as well as coffee available 24 hours.The staff were very friendly. There is a shuttle bus that is ready to take you downtown and to the airport free of charge.

Location was quiet with adequate parking close to hotel doors. Staff was friendly and efficient. Plenty of hot water available for a soak in the bathtub. Although the hotel was by itself away from the north edge of the downtown business and hotel area, healthy folks in warm clothes could walk about 0.75 miles to some good restaurants/bars downtown. There was a nice warm swimming pool indoors that looked well maintained. The hotel free shuttle brought our family from the railway station, and took me to the airport car rental center late on our arrival in Anchorage by train.

The staff was super helpful and accomodating when we needed to change rooms after our first night. Breakfast had a good variety and overall the hotel and rooms were clean. We were there for Fur Rondy and it was the PERFECT location - the snow sculptures were in the parking lot across the street, the fireworks were visible from just out our front door, and the carnival and parade were just a short walk up the hill to the downtown area. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting for Fur Rondy!

We stayed here one night. The hotel is a short walk from the rail depot but just a bit too far to walk if you have several large suitcases. We arrived on the Alaska Railroad and the hotel shuttle was already there just outside of the baggage claim area waiting for the hotel guests that came in on that train. Bear in mind the train came 1 hour late. The shuttle is a huge help getting around downtown Anchorage and will take take you to restaurants and businesses in the downtown area as well as to the airport. I want to specifically recognize the drivers Walter and Romano because they went out of their way to be helpful. Thanks guys!! Romano- the fish made it to Spokane in great shape. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They are the best part of this hotel and I would stay here again just because of them. The room was large. The train whistles were audible but didn't bother us a bit since the room was on the creek side of the building. Sure, the bathroom tile isn't perfect but that is a minor flaw. We didn't try the breakfast.

The hotel is simple and minimal, but covered everything I needed to comfortably stay a night downtown. I think it was a good value. I did appreciate that the packaged soap in the room was small enough to where I didn't feel that I was wasting a whole bar of soap if only staying for a night. The staff was also kind and easy to talk to.

Quick and easy stay, comfortable accommodation. It was a 15min (ish) uber from the anchorage airport. Large room, clean. In the morning, the hotel shuttle took me to the train station at the crack of dawn. Would stay here again.

Easy access to train station. Staff very accommodating and friendly. We were only there for a few hours to sleep so didn’t get time to check facilities out. They held our bags and free shuttle to airport. will stay here again.

The room was nice and big. Love the shower, it had good pressure and water heats very fast. The breakfast was very good, served in a room with a view of Ship Creek. Beautiful area at the back of the hotel to walk along Ship Creek. Enjoyed the free shuttle from the airport and to the train station.
